This is a Korg Volca Beats modification service by us at Metronics - the mod greatly improves the factory maunufactured Korg Volca Beats Snare.

SNARE MOD - MAKES SNARE SOUND WARM & PUNCHY
SNARE VOLUME MOD - MAKES THE SNARE LEVEL LOUDER

Korg Volca Beats circuit boards have a missing component, which causes the snare to sound distorted.
Widely considered a manufacturing or design fault throughout the online community.
The PCB requires the component to be fitted in order to sound like an authentic analogue snare.
The snare volume is also quite low, as shipped by Korg, and so the second part of this modification is to bring up the level to a more balanced overall sound.

RECTIFICATION- All work is carried out under anti-static conditions.
The missing capacitor is fitted with a carefully selected value making the snare sound clear, crisp and not muffled as shipped from Korg.
